School Racism Reporting Tool

We Know It's Happening Help Us Track It

This message needs to be overemphasized; schools are not a safe place for Black students or Black staff. School boards claim that they are unable to properly track complaints of anti-Black racism, so we found a way to assist them with that.

If you are a staff member in a Canadian or American public, Catholic, or private schools and you are aware of incidents of anti-Black racism perpetrated against students, colleagues, or even yourself, you can now report it anonymously. PoBC will use this information to collect data on instances of anti-Black racism in schools across the province.  It is an effective and safe approach to share what you are seeing or experiencing.

We are in no way affiliated with any school board or union. The purpose of this form is SOLELY to allow PoBC insight into the realities of anti-Black racism in schools. As a board employee (and potentially a union member), please be reminded that you are still expected to report incidents of anti-Black racism to your specific school board or union as necessary.
